In 5 years I see myself… probably still trying to graduate, and of course working at Independent Study
Favorite thing about the Front Desk: That joke that Kelcie made up about replacing RS with a program called Orion. Hahahaha, priceless.

Matt Nixon has really been a stellar employee this month. He has been like my number 2 at counselor support. He answers people’s questions well both on and off the phone, and helps keep others on the support team on task. -- Jordan Potter

Dear Heavenly Father...

It didn't take long for someone to follow Garrett's example. Yesterday, Melissa was attempting to contact a proctor but the proctor did not answer the phone. Melissa decided to leave a voice mail in hopes that the proctor would return her call. At the end of the phone call, Melissa closed saying, "We ask for these blessings in the..." After a lengthy pause, she then attempted to recover the end of the phone call by telling the proctor to have a good day.

I Love You?

Today Garrett was on the phone with a student's counselor. Upon ending the phone call, Garrett said, "I love you, goodbye. Uh, I'm sorry. Bye."

Just a reminder: The correct way to end a phone call goes something like this...

"Is there anything else I can help you with?"

(If the answer is no...)

"Okay. Thank you for calling. Have a great day. Goodbye."

If you have any funny call stories please email me at brittany.cliff@byu.edu and I will post them on our blog.

Funny

As I'm sure many of you know you can find very interesting people and things on campus. One that I found was the burning mustache outside the MOA. I suggest you all take a look. On another note, during Darren's team meeting we had an unfortunate mishap. We lost a life in the office. Michelle Ringer felt the need to end a poor wasp's life by sitting on it! It was definately one of the funniest things I've seen. She sat down and exclaimed, "Ouch something just poked me!" When she got up Garrett McKay proceeded to kill it. Great job saving the day McKay!
